NLL Lacrosse, Minnesota Swarm vs. Calgary Roughnecks
The Minnesota Swarm hosted the Calgary Roughnecks for a regular season game at the Xcel Energy Center/Treasure Island Filed in downtown St. Paul this evening.
Tie first goal was scored by Calgary's Dane Dobble at 1.56 in the first quarter with the assist going to John Harnett. The Swarm evened the game at 4.26 with a goal by Shayne Jackson. Calgary scored three more goals in the next three minutes, ending the first quarter with a score of 6-3.
Calgary scored the second quarters first and second goals followed by two Swarm goals in rapid succession, bringing the score to 8-4 in the Roughneck's favor. With an additional two goals, Calgary ended the first half with a score of 9-5.
Although the Roughnecks scored first in the third quarter, theSwarm filled with three quick goals, bringing the score to 8-10. SME back and forth action ended the third with a tie at 13 all.
The Swarm scored first in the 4th quarter and seemed pumped up by their three quick goals in the 3rd. Half way through the last quarter the score was tied at 15,which Was filled we by two Roughneck goals. With 1.03 left in the game, the Swarm came back with the games last goal by Ryan Bebesch, leaving the finanal score at 17-16 in the Roughneck's favor.
