I have a cruise booked on the Carnival Triumph this summer (same itinerary out of Galveston). I called and asked for a refund and Carnival refused. They said I could have a partial credit towards a future cruise after I paid a significant cancelation fee. I emailed their customer service line asking why I would ever want to bring my wife and three year old son on the Triumph ship and they never responded. My travel agent ( usairways cruises) also refused to cancel without an additional $100 payment!
