Snow Surprise In Maben, Mississippi
Like Charlotte, North Carolina, Maben, Mississippi, and other places were surprised with snow, today, February 16th.
It appears, we can forget the tradition of The Groundhog Day, as The Groundhog did not see his shadow, this past february 2nd.
As you can see in this yard, in Maben, Mississippi, 18 miles west of Mississippi State University, in Oktibbeha County, Spring Flowers had begun to bloom, here and other yards.
At around 2 pm, snow begun falling in this small town, Maben, Mississippi, and continued for about 30 or 45 minutes, when the skies cleared and the sun peeked out.
This is the first snow this area has had since January 17th, when this area had 2-4 inches, which soon melted, but, not before lots of people had made snow ice cream and built snowmen.
It looks as if, now, we will wait until February has past, to see what the weather does next.
Hey, What about that old Tradition of Groundhog Day?
