The Green T-shirt That I Love To Wear
The green T-shirt shown in this iReport is my most favorite T-shirt. I actually won the said T-shirt from an FM radio contest in year 2010. The contest was about texting a message about on how an individual like me can help protect the environment. I texted the message when the radio jock said it was time to do so. I was lucky that my message was chosen by the DJ as the best response on how an individual can protect the environment. The DJ later asked about my details so I can claim my prizes. I won 2 concert-tickets, one small bottle of vitamin-capsules, a small backpack, an organizer and a green T-shirt.
I usually wear the said green T-shirt everytime I volunteer to a clean-up drive for the environment in my home-city of Muntinlupa. I also wear the green T-shirt everytime I attend pro-environmentalist forums and seminars everywhere in the Philippines. I wear the shirt when I do tree-planting activities for the Parent-Teacher Association of San Lorenzo School in San Pedro, Laguna. Hence, the green T-shirt is like a "pro-environmentalist costume" to me because I wear it during pro-environmentalist activities.
Also, I was wearing the said green T-shirt when I met my current girlfriend in person. I actually met my current girlfriend on Facebook. It took us about 3 weeks of chatting on Facebook before we actually met in person. It was on May 20, 2012 that my girlfriend and I met for the first time inside a convenience store. I was wearing the green T-shirt when I met my girlfriend in person for the very first time. But it took me another week before she officially became my girlfriend. It was on June 27, 2012 that my girlfriend and I celebrated our first monthsary (monthly anniversary) as sweethearts or romantic partners. I was wearing the same casual green T-shirt when my girlfriend and I celebrated our monthsary. I can say now that the green T-shirt that I love to wear has a huge sentimental value to me. I don't know if I could give the said shirt away to anyone in this present lifetime of mine.
(NOTE: I was with my fellow citizen-journalist Darwin Cruz in the 2nd and 3rd pictures of this iReport. I was with my fellow environmentalist- Emanuel Berog in the 4th picture of this iReport. The said photos were taken in a Manila mall. I just came from an ‘environmentalist forum’ when those pictures were taken. The pictures were taken about May of last year- 2012.)
