    Southern California Mourns for Jerry Buss

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     MelissaF shot this photo Monday while in Newport Beach with her family. She said she was a 'huge fan' of Jerry Buss, the owner of the L.A. Lakers who died on Monday. 'You saw him in every sportscast on local news. His smile and his demeanour was humbling. I saw him once in person years ago when I attended a Laker's game on Christmas Day. Jerry Buss hired only the best with Phil Jackson. Buss brought honor, enthusiasm, and notarity back to Los Angeles. He will be truly missed.'

    Everyone who is anyone knows Jerry Buss. His success as the owner of the LA Lakers will be written now for only the history books. He brought fame for the Lakers not just from the awesome players he picked on his team, but also his infectious smile.
