    Priorities of the Media

As I was reading through the headlines this evening, I clicked on the story about the White House Press Corp being frustrated with the president.

I am not sure what I was expecting, what issue that could have them in such a tizzy, but I never guessed why they were upset. With all that is going on in the US, from war, to the dismal economy, to rising gas prices, to whatever...

These were not the issues upsetting the press corp...no nothing so important in my opinion. They were....wait for it...

"The White House press corps expressed "extreme frustration" at the Obama administration Sunday after it was barred from being able to report on President Obama's golf outing with Tiger Woods."

Is anyone else dumbfounded by this? Or is it just me? Why would the press corp want to report about a golf outing with a celebrity, when our economy contracted in January, when our soldiers are still not home, when there is so much unrest in the middle east, when the murder rate is so high in Chicago....I could go on, but I guess you see my point.

If this is where the priorities of the White House Press Corp lie....why do we even have them? To me this is just dumb. I could understand if this was Golf Digest, People or some other entertainment aspect of the media, but the White House Press Corp. Really?

I just wanted to share my horror
