Salman Khan was Nervous Before Hosting 'Renault Star Guild Awards'

While Salman may be riding high on the waves of success with two consecutive Rs. 150 crore hits in Ek Tha Tiger and Dabangg 2 but the actor couldn’t hide his nervousness when it came to playing first time host at the Renault Star Guild Awards. The red carpet of the event saw the superstar fielding questions about his hosting debut where he acknowledged TV anchor Manish Paul’s mastery at hosting events. Salman also insisted that the guests need not be afraid of him as he would be at the receiving end of all the jokes.

Salman, who is known to have broken down into tears the last time he tried something similar during his ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’ days seemed to be taking things in his stride and talked about the difficulties that come with being a host. He even went on to laud his rival, Shah Rukh Khan’s hosting capabilities but didn’t refrain from imitating him when the press egged him to do so.

Sonakshi Sinha, Salman’s co-star from the Dabangg franchise will be co-hosting the ‘Renault Star Guild Awards’ with him. She was also seen interacting with the press and was quite diplomatic in tackling their queries. Click here to view more http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0CcFPf0H9gE
