    Egg Pakora

A protein-rich and spicy alternative to French Fries , Egg Pakora is a fried snack found across South Asia donning different names: pakoda in China and Kannada, baji in Malayalam and Tamil, and pakodi in Telugu. The term pakora is applicable in Hindi, Punjabi, and Bengali, and is the most popular term used around the world to refer to the Indian style fritter .

The essence of a pakora is dipping an ingredient in gram flour batter and deep- frying it until you get a crispy roughly shaped ball. Some of the more popular ingredients used in making pakora are onion, potato, eggplant, paneer (Indian cheese), tomato, cauliflower, spinach, chili, and bread. A satisfying snack, this also makes a great vegetarian dish.

The eggs in this recipe are hard-boiled, peeled, and cut in half so that it can be consumed in one bite, and also you’ll be able to make more if you have to feed a room full of people.

Gram flour is made from ground chickpeas and is also known as garbanzo flour, chickpea flour, or besan.Cooking recipe videos are helpful for the recipe. You can buy gram flour made from either raw or roasted chickpeas; the raw variety has a slightly bitter taste while the roasted kind has a stronger flavor.
