Maharana Pratap Memorial Udaipur - Moti Magri Garden or Garden atop the "Pearl Hill"
I saw a Temple at the back with lots of children playing and teachers looking after them. You can see the Fateh Sagar Lake,a nice blue Lake and far of Hills from here and the white houses in the Valley below.Wind is quite strong here. There is a Ticket here at the entrance gate of the memorial, and you can take your car inside too if you buy a ticket for it.Its a beautiful place that brings sadness too for you are reminded of all the hardships Rana Pratap faced all his life in his battles with the Moghul emperor Akbar for he cherished his independence more than anything else.
Maharana Pratap Memorial is a historic site that is dedicated to the gallant Maharana Pratap. Situated at the top of Moti Margi or Pearl Hill, the memorial overlooks the Fateh Sagar Lake.
