    We Say Enough!

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Pilakoutas participated in a University of Cape Town rally because 'we've had enough of violent crime in our country and we are disappointed with the government in their inability to deal with this huge problem sufficiently. Quite a few students and staff members have lost their lives to violent crime in the past few years and we believed that the widespread public outrage over the incidents mentioned above that occurred just this month has the potential to be a catalyst for change.'

The rally was specifically in response to the rape and mutilation of 17-year-old Anene Booysen. Before Reeva Steenkamp died, she sent out a message urging her thousands of social media followers to 'Speak out against the rape of individuals' on the photo-sharing site Instagram. Steenkamp, the girlfriend of Oscar Pistorius, had also written, 'RIP Anene Booysen.' '
