    Winter Blast

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Da'Mone Wilson photographed what she called as a winter blast in her area on February 20 in Gilbert, Arizona. 'I wasn't sure at first, but found out it was "graupel," according to the meteorologist,' she said. A graupel is when droplets of water from precipitation are super cooled and frozen into what looks like tiny balls of ice. She found frozen beads of ice covering her grill outside.
