    The paradoxes of the Shahbag protests

    The recent shahbag gathering has grabbed a huge media attention worldwide. I applaud them for the youth's success, and agree with them for trials of the war criminals!
    But an analysis of the protest has convinced me of the following major paradoxes prevalent in the mass protest they have gathered for:
