    Touring New York: Benjamin Steakhouse

Whether for business or leisure, there is no hotter location than New York City. There are so many places to wine and dine friends or clientele but rarely do you get the perfect mix of location, atmosphere and “star power” as with Benjamin Steakhouse. Those tired of the “campy” restaurants overpriced for their gimmicks and faux history of New York keep on reading.

Located near the bustling heart of Grand Central, yet wonderfully secluded on the quiet E 41st street, there is no better place to have a sensational meal with steak dry-aged for a minimum of 28 days before being prepared. Providing an ambience that invites conversation, topped with class and elegance all the while maintaining a family atmosphere, Benjamin Steakhouse delivers more than just cuisine after an evening of site seeing.

These attributes are why the steakhouse attracts quite a prestigious crowd and of all different ages and professions. In the past the Steakhouse has catered to many celebrities in their travels including Donald Trump, Neil Patrick Harris, Kim Kardashian, Whoopi Goldberg, Zac Efron, Martin Sheen, Evander Holyfield, Hillary Duff, Reba McEntire, Slash, Dj Ashba and hundreds more. While some have passed through on occasion, others have made it their “go-to” dining destination every time their schedule lands them in The Big Apple.

CNN spoke to Martin Sheen who comments on his time at the steakhouse saying, "Benjamin really does it right. Put me in New York City, surrounded by good friends, lively conversation, and a dish of Benjamin's creamed spinach and I'm happy as Larry."

And when asked about his experience, Dj Ashba of Guns N’ Roses told CNN, “When it comes to steak, Benjamin Steakhouse tops them all. The preparation and devotion they put into preparing each and every course is beyond superb.”

While Benjamin Steakhouse builds off the famous Peter Luger steakhouse, obtaining their widely celebrated Chef Arturo McCleod, Benjamin has more variety in their menu, a greater selection of fine wines, cocktails and a high-rise ceiling scarcely found in the compact city. The restaurant is also popular for breakfast and lunch as some of their dinner courses are cleverly translated to support all hours of the day.

So, whether you live in NYC or are visiting for a weekend, make sure you mark Benjamin Steakhouse on your travel plans, as this is one spot you don't want to miss... Plus, your stomach will thank you afterwards!
