    Neighborhood Digs Out

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     KsCattails told me, 'Twelve to fourteen inches of snow fell in northeastern Kansas yesterday. Today the sun is out and our street has been plowed. Neighbors worked to clear their driveways while the kids enjoyed playing in the deepest snow many of them had ever experienced.'

    Twelve to fourteen inches of snow fell in northeastern Kansas yesterday. Today the sun is out and our street has been plowed. Neighbors worked to clear their driveways while the kids enjoyed playing in the deepest snow many of them had ever experienced.

     

    Following the custom of motorists living in big cities like Boston, one Prairie Village resident used a lawn chair to reserve the parking space he worked so hard to clear.
