    Over 100 Arrested for doing the "Harlem Shake" in Saudi Arabia

    Last Wednesday (February 20, 2013), Over 500 People from around the city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia gathered to shoot their own viral "Harlem Shake" video.

     

    But what started off as a fun celebration was cut short as the Police arrived and ended up catching over 100 Youngsters. It comes as no surprise for such harsh laws and prosecution to come of out Saudi Arabia, a country tarnished with by western media as of backward thinking, little to-no female rights, conservatism and more.

     

    After the post on this incident by Arab News Station, Al-Arabiya, many Saudi Arabians expressed their opinions of how these people should be whipped, imprisoned and more.
