    Hyderabad Bombing yesterday

A bomb exploded in Hyderabad, India, yesterday. A number of people were killed and many injured.
A friend who has had news from a student colleague who was injured tells me that there were scenes of panic.
It has been reported that the Hyderabad police ordered the mobile phone services shut down for a time, possibly to inhibit the terrorists ability to evade arrest.
According to the Delhi Times, the bomb was left in a small parcel and detonated by a timing device. The bomb is thought to have been made of ammonia phosphate.
The reason for this latest outrage in India in not yet known, but is possibly another attempt to provoke hostilities between India and Pakistan.
Interestingly, the news of the latest bombing does not seem to have been carried by any of the major world.news agencies.
I hope to submit more on this as I get it, hopefully with pictures.
