Russia became member of WTO 22 August 2012. This state ratified the WIPO Performances and Phonograms Treaty (in July 2008). With some reservations (which does not let violate copyright of foreign authors after joining to WTO totally). Only separate agreement can create limitations on this issue (two or several states). Russia must respect copyright even more (when we say about USA). Sad result .. Rights of millions of authors from the US and not only were violated in Russia. Damages exist on illegal grounds. Russia has the bilateral agreements on this issue with even more popularity (double standarts must not exist very many years).
