    Papakolea "Green Sand" Beach

    This long, hot, dusty, trek to the Southern most beach in the USA is well worth the trip! After walking through the seemingly martian landscapes, suddenly the land gives way to this stunning beach formed by the collapse of a cinder cone. Scaling the side to get down can be tricky, but sinking your toes into the Olivine and black sand at the bottom and swimming in the incredibly clear water is well worth the effort!
