    Norwegian Epic cruise ship fails to make scheduled stop in home port of Nassau, Bahamas

    The Norwegian Epic, the largest vessel in their fleet failed to make it's scheduled stop at it's home port of Nassau, Bahamas friday. The cruise was the ships normal 7 day excursion from Miami, FL with scheduled stops in St. marten, St. Thomas and Nassau.

    According to a letter distributed on board and signed by the captain, Sverre Sovdsnes, the problem was caused by a "scheduling error by the port authority".

    Many passengers were clearly upset by this issue, and the crew stated they were unable to make any billing adjustments for customers other than refunding the charges for taxes related to the docking. Many customers attempting to resolve the issue onboard were visibly emotional, with some saying they would notifiy their credit card companies.

    The unanswered question I and many other passengers were left with grappling with was: "Will they make customers happy or put profits first?"
