Hotmail not working and Microsoft not talking

Hotmail has not been available for days for certain customers. While this may sound like just an inconvenience, hotmail has been around as a Microsoft entity since 1998. Some people have had their hotmail addresses for over a decade and use it for work as well personal use.

On the Microsoft forum there are numerous people asking for help. Some are simply wanting to read their mail, while others are in danger of losing customers and jobs, or missing orders and other work related issues. One person complained that they have already lost a job interview, while a doctor said he has lost access to some customer information. The pages on the forum regarding this is up to 92 and there are 911 messages as of this posting.

Microsoft's only attempt at a reply was to optimize your browser, and post your email so they could fix it. After 911 messages (and growing), it does not seem to be working.

There are simply to many non-Microsoft options for the company to be treating customers this way, particularly if they want us to convert to outlook. Most customers would be a little less anxious if there was an acknowledgement of the problem and a timeline for the fix.
