Simple Innovation Can Still Save Lives

I have always been afraid of tornadoes and earthquakes because I live in the Ring of Fire and earthquakes seem to happen more often than years ago.

My online friend, Diane(from Michigan, USA)  and I decided to some up with something based on the question : how does one throw a raw egg and avoid it from breaking? This has lead us to this "innovation" - a simple one, but it can protect your head during earthquake and storms. This is an innovation that Diane Cross (a retired school supervisor) from Stehenson, MI and myself came up with after almost 11 years. It is the kind of legacy we wish to leave - like, do something that can save lives - but we have difficulty in actually manufacturing it.

Why do we almost instinctively cover our heads? And how many lives could have been saved in Haiti for instance if this anti-earthquake gear was available.
Recently, we were interviewed by ABS-CBN Philippines about it and we would like to ask the world for help. Help us help millions-- if you happen to be in California, you know what we feel too.

This is me, interviewed, my name is Cynthia Sycip and yes we need the world to help us produce this head gear. (footage from TV TV, ABS-CBN, SWAK na SWAK)
