    Day One, Wedding, and Now

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     rlau11 says her Superman t-shirt serves as a reminder of how she met her husband. They both travelled separately to a Superman convention two years ago and met while standing in line waiting for autographs by actors like Allison Mack from the hit television show Smallville. 'We happened to strike up a conversation while waiting in line, walk around town and exchanged numbers.... eventually we started dating and now we are married!' she said. Both being Superman fans, she says on their wedding day her husband decided to wear his Superman shirt underneath his tuxedo. 'I thought it was extremely sweet and a creative way to include a memory into our special day,' she said.

    My husband and I both claim Superman shirts as our favorite t-shirts. These t-shirts are particularly special becuase these were the t-shirts we were wearing when we met at the Superman Celebration in Metropolis, Illinois five years ago. Chad went on to wear his t-shirt under his tuxedo at our wedding, and both shirts still proudly hang in our closets for special (comic related) occasions.
