February 25th - TBILISI, GEORGIA. Ninety-two years have passed since the occupation of the first independent republic of Georgia by Soviet Russia today. It is the bloody day of Georgian history.

On 25 February 1921, Soviet troops crossed Georgian border. It was a military campaign by the Soviet Russian (RSFSR) Red Army against the Democratic Republic of Georgia (DRG) aimed at overthrowing the local Social-Democratic government and installing the Bolshevik regime in the country.

The last fight was held in Kojori settlement near Tbilisi, where Cadets battled against groups of Red Army. Almost 300 cadets fell on battle field. Daughter of the author of the national anthem of Georgia, Maro Makashvili was among the young cadets, who were brutally killed and then buried in the yard of current parliament.

This is where the members of the parliament will assemble to commemorate the young Georgian heroes, who fell for the independence of Georgia.
