    Snow in The South West of France

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Currently living in Seignosse, France, LifeMovies says everyone was very excited to see some snow. "It's rare to see snow here," she says. "But the weather right now is quite cold."

    Surfers and residents of the Hossegor area in the South West of France got a rare surprise this morning! The world famous surf spots and the unique looking pine forest in "Les Landes" were covered in snow.

     

    The area's micro-climate normally keeps the snow away, but mother nature's wintery temperatures brought a gift over night. Some surfers were brave enough to get in the chilly water this morning.
