    The election of a pope has never been an excersice of democracy. It is always an arrangement among power structures.Like any hierarchical human society structure.
    I doubt the number of 1.2 billions followers world wide. I was baptized, but stop beeing a folower by age 14. I am 72 now. And I beleive this is the case of most people.
    This is good for the press business, but foe the world at large is irrelevant.
