    Holy Cow!

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     MrsDevoll's husband shot these photos on his way to work in the oilfield in Pampa, Texas. 'He couldn't hear anything because the wind was howling so bad. We have had gusts of wind up to 75 mph and have gotten 18 inches of snow so far. He said the cattle were just trotting along in a herd. They passed him and parted around his truck.'
    - hhanks, CNN iReport producer

A herd of cattle was seen running loose down a main street in Pampa, Texas during the Blizzard "Rocky" on Monday, Feb. 25. These pictures were taken by my husband, James Devoll as he was out working in the cold. The cattle roamed through an intersection and were following the road. They most likely got loose after drifts covered up fences and they were able to just walk over. Schools were closed for the day. Drifts were up to the first floor windows in people's homes. Winds were measured at up to 75 mph gusts and as of right now we have received 18 inches of snow! Very glad for the moisture even though it is not convenient.
