DC killing another Robin? How UNoriginal!

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Comic book aficionado omekongo told me, 'I do not like "game changing" stories. I wish comic book companies would focus more on making and marketing new characters and story lines. I can still remember the days when I was introduced to characters like Bishop and Night Thrasher after already being a devoted fan of old characters like superman, batman, and Spider-Man. I wish they would come up with new games to change or even newer story lines with the same characters. All of this alternate universe or resetting to #1 stuff is really a turn off for me. The argument that it attracts new fans may be true but if you lose a fan for every new fan you gain, what's the point? There are several comics I became a fan of after they were out for a while and I didn't know anything about them, like Green Arrow. I didn't need to buy the 1st issue to start to appreciate him. It's nonsense to have these "game-changing" story lines. Utter nonsense!' (DC Entertainment is owned by Time Warner, which owns CNN.)

DC's plans to kill off yet another Robin is insulting to our intelligence. Even if this one stays dead, there is going to be another one so what's the point?
