On a cold yet clear February night in Washington D.C., a magnificent, red Full Moonrise crept up over the Lincoln Memorial just after sunset. The moon danced across the sky as helicopters and planes passed by. Then, the moon was split right down the middle as it passed behind the Washington Monument. As a photographer, I've photographed the full moon over the monuments before but tonight was the most stunning I've ever seen it thanks to the positioning of the moon, its bright redish color, the clear sky and the amazing enormous size of the Full Moon!
