    Snow Makes Fat Free & Sugar Free Wedding Cake

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Military wife mebond is celebrating 19 years of marriage today by making a wedding cake out of the fresh snow that fell in her Andover, Kansas, yard. She says last week's snowstorm inspired her to get out the cake pans and craft this snow cake, which took about 30 minutes. The groom’s grandmother baked the couple’s original cake and gave them a cake topper – the one on the snow cake – as a wedding gift.

    'We had two weddings. We got married on Feb. 26th and then the 5th of March, so this is marking the beginning of wedding week. I want to see if the cake will last that long without melting,' she said.

    Her husband is currently deployed – he is active duty Air Force. mebond texted a photo of the cake to her husband to wish him a happy anniversary.
