Girls + Education: Your message |
Family
As I walk down a street in a Pueblo called Peru in Honduras a few young kids greeted me, as I continue to walk towards a shack with these young kids on my side we came to a stop. They all ran inside there home and went to call there guardians, the first one to come out was the grandmother then her daughter proceded. I instantly thought these women's must be strong and some what brillant like super women to support so many kids, after spending some time with the family the grandmother gently told me that she couldn't read. I wonder who is it to blame? I keep that in my mind and asked her can your daughter read she said yes in fact I have her read to me I said it's never to late to educate yourself.
