With thin strips of steak and peppers, this stir-fry steak is quick to make, spicy and peppery, and totally satisfying.
1 1/2 lbs. round steak cut into strips
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 tsp. coarse ground black pepper
1/3 cup onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
3 green bell peppers, cut into slices
3 red bell peppers, cut into slices
1 1/2 cup celery, diced
1 cup beef bouillon
1 tbsp. soy sauce
Cut round steak into 1” long strips, about 1/8” thick.
In a large skillet, over medium-high heat, heat oil and black pepper.
Add steak and stir-fry until meat is brown, about 5 minutes.
Stir in onion and garlic.
Then add peppers and celery.
Pour in bouillon and soy sauce.
Cover pan, reduce heat to medium, and cook until meat and vegetables are tender, about 10 minutes.
