OSCARS - In the Kitchen with Chef Wolfgang Puck
- hhanks, CNN iReport producer
Master Chef Wolfgang Puck created this year's Governors Ball, the Academy's official post-Oscar celebration, which immediately followed the 85th Academy Awards ceremony on Sunday, February 24. The 1,500 guests of the Governors Ball enjoyed over 50 imaginative dishes. I was in the kitchen watching the magic. Check out my interview with Chef Puck at his 19th year creating the menu for the Governors Ball.
A couple fun facts: The Governors Ball used more than 80 local farms for fruits and vegetables, 10 pounds winter black truffles from France, 300 whole jidori chickens, 200 quarts heavy cream and 6,500 wood fired Oscar shaped flat bread.
