    Henry County Supervisor tries new approach to get Obama's attention

    Henry County has purchased a track of land on the Virginia/No.Carolina line to develop into an Industrial Park. This project has been delayed as EPA will not issue a permit for it. This project has lost several potential industries because of the delays. Washington is holding this project up in an area that has lost numerous industries and has the highest unemployement in the State of VA many times exceeding 20% unemployment. HG Vaughn and his wife designed this approx. 8 x 10 high gloss card and set it to President Obama hoping to get his attention. In his campaign speech in Henry County President Obama promised to wake up every morning in Washington thinking of Martinsville.
