Two youths were killed from fumes and three others hospitalized in a coma trying to keep warm.
As reported by the preliminary information, five young people in a house in the center of Larissa and had lit a makeshift hearth - "like barbecue" or brazier to keep warm.
Shortly after 18:00 afternoon one girlfriend went home to visit them. While persistently rang the bell nobody open. Eventually when the door is opened with the key inside the landlady saw five young unconscious, both of whom were already dead.

Όλα μαύρα. Δύο νεκροί φοιτητές από αναθυμιάσεις στην προσπάθεια τους ζεσταθούν.
Δύο νεαροί έχασαν τη ζωή τους από αναθυμιάσεις, ενώ άλλοι τρεις νοσηλεύονται στο νοσοκομείο σε κωματώδη κατάσταση στην προσπάθειά τους να ζεσταθούν.
Όπως αναφέρουν οι πρώτες πληροφορίες, τα πέντε νεαρά άτομα βρισκόταν σε σπίτι σε κεντρικό σημείο της Λάρισας και είχαν ανάψει μία αυτοσχέδια εστία -«σαν ψησταριά» ή μαγκάλι προκειμένου να ζεσταθούν.
Λίγο μετά τις 18:00 το απόγευμα μία φίλη τους πήγε στο σπίτι, προκειμένου να τους επισκεφθεί. Ενώ χτυπούσε επίμονα το κουδούνι κανείς δεν άνοιγε.
Τελικά όταν η πόρτα άνοιξε με το κλειδί της σπιτονοικοκυράς αντίκρισαν μέσα τους πέντε αναίσθητους νεαρούς, οι δύο εκ των οποίων ήταν ήδη νεκροί.
