TOI Gurgaon festival disappoints
TOI Gurgaon Festival opened with the performance of Rahul da Cunha's "The Bureaucrat". The organisers had distributed passes for the same and the people queued at 6 pm for a 7 pm show couldnt gain entrance. The organisers had distributed passes more than double of the seating capacity of the Showshaa Theatre at Kingdom of Dreams. Patrons senior citizens, office goers and youngsters who reached well before the show were left in a disarray as the organisers didn't know how to handle the 300 strong crowd waiting outside.
There was disappointment at the lack of planning and organisation on the part of TOI team which was not even there to respond to their patrons who suffered. The gates for entrance were shut at 6 pm. People left for their homes disappointed even though the team promised a repeat show at 9 pm but did not make any reference to the time the Gates would open to allow the waiting patrons inside.
