    At least 90 people have killed by police and ruling party activists yesterday during the clash between police and Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s activist, the opposition political party in Bangladesh. Police have used heavily guns against their citizen who were trying to demonstrate the mostly debated decree of sentence to death to the former member of parliament of Bangladesh and the associate president of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Delawar Hossain Saiyedee. Delawar Hossain Saiyedee, known as a popular political and religious leader in the country, had been holding trial against him charging for the so-called war crimes during the liberation war of Bangladesh in 1971. He was being held with a trial under a tribunal named “International Crime Tribunal” made by present ruling party for charging against 42 years ago dispute of its country’s liberation with present Pakistan.
    On the other hand, the opposition party, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami claims that Saiyedee and its other top leaders are being scrutinized by the present ruling party in a non-democratic way. They are claiming that, the government ruling party, Bangladesh Awami League, from its past history, always try to stop the democratic system to their limited and permanent leadership by stressing the news media, social media and by stopping the freedom of speech through the law enforcing agency. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, yesterday warned the ruling party of the government to stop killing weaponless civilians by law enforcing agencies including POLICE, RAB(Rapid Action Battalion) and BGB(Border Guard Bangladesh) while people are try to have a demonstration to use their right of freedom of speech in a democratic country.
    In a nationwide shutdown yesterday called by the opposition party, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami for protesting the ruling party’s arranged so-called International Crime Tribunal(where any of international community’s direct investigation and advocacy is disallowed) to capsize the power of democracy of opposition, at least 90 people have died during the clash of police with civilians. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, the party trying to seek the international attention for being killed their weaponless civilians in democratic demonstration against the misdeed and atrocity of its present government.
