    What a day, the history the circumstance. Pope Benedict was a great leader & scholar for our universal Church after JP II's many years of service. What a blessing to have B XVI lead us. I find the tradition familiar and facinating just as the pomp and circumstance of a graduation, military ceremony or other like event. As a Roman Catholic it is comforting to have a head of the universal church passed down from the time of St. Peter. Wishing the Pope Emeritis all the best in his retirement and monastic time on Earth. I can only imagine all the grace and blessings that will come from his prayers and intercessions someday.

    Until we meet again in the Heavenly Paradise.
