    Flooding in south Georgia.

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     jkluke is an environmental geoscientist and captured a video of the Withlacoochee River cresting in Brooks County, Georgia, on March 1. 'The river crested in our area in Brooks county almost at 32 feet, this is not but a few feet below our record flood here from 2009 when millions of dollars of water damage occurred in our area ,Valdosta and Quitman, Georgia,' he said. He says the river has flooded many cabins in the area. 'Many people were not expecting this flood and were caught by surprise, so I think there will be a lot of lost boats and any thing that wasn't tied down will probably wash away. The river is very dangerous to navigate and it still is not dropping that fast,' he said.
