    Owong, a native canoe.

Two boys from the lake dwelling T’boli Tribe are paddling through the murky water of beautiful Lake Sebu on the tropical island of Mindanao, Philippines. This native canoe is hand carved out a tree trunk and named Owong; it is still widely used for fishing and travel between the several islands of this picturesque lake. Keeping their balance in these narrow boats is not as easy as it seems; however, these youngsters grew up using this environmentally friendly, dug out boat as a traditional way to go around the lake.
