Logan Gaines
Logan Gaines was convicted in March 2012 for sexual conduct against underage girls. There was evidence that proved against Logan's innocence, the most damaging evidence is what was used in court. The proof that Logan is innocent was there, but was not used. Stories were told that weren't true. Supporters formed out of people who didn't even know Logan. People stood behind him, and fought with him. And then they took away his future. Without even knowing the truth.
The thing about politics is that people lie. The guilty people lie the most. The innocent people rot. The bad guys get a slap on the wrist, but the good guys get their life taken from them. The bad guys walk the streets, and the good guys suffer.
And justice is never served fairly.
As Logan's trial went on, many people realized something wasn't right. After the trial, a page was started for Logan, supporting him. Logan has 900 supporters. The girls involved in the case were not honest, and new evidence has come about. Logan is fighting for a new trial. Saginaw County Prosecutor agreed to this trial, and is now putting a motion before the judge on Monday March 6th to undo this request. Justice has not been served where it is due, and it is breaking many many hearts watching this happen. This trial needs to happen, and Logan needs a fair try to prove himself, because the fact is; He is NOT guilty enough to deserve the convictions he received. Logan has a very bright future, and is an honest man. He has not lied one time to anyone, including the court, about what happened. But the girls have, and they need to re testify so they can get what they deserve. A 21 year olds life has been taken away from him because proper evidence is being over looked, and because people aren't listening to the facts. It isn't fair, and something needs to be done. I am asking you to report on this story because I believe it needs to be put out there, and maybe some good change will come from it. Logan does not deserve this, and without this new trial, he looks like the bad guy when he really isn't. Change needs to take place and the unsaid facts need to be said. How can justice come without a chance? I understand people might disagree with me, and the 900 people supporting Logan do too, but the thing is, nobody really knows our story. The media hasn't given us a chance to speak. They are only reporting what they hear, and what they hear is the so called victims side of it. They need to hear the REAL TRUTH, and people need to listen. Help make a difference please. At least you will be able to say that you reported the truth, and you took our facts into consideration. If you were standing on our sideline, you'd be shaking your head too.
