Notre Dame Cathedral
This year, Notre Dame Cathedral of Paris celebrates 850 years of existence. To mark this celebration, nine new bronze tower bells have been cast to replace all but one of the existing bells which have fallen out of tune over the last many years.
As we left the cathedral,which had been awash with the dull gray light of the overcast day, we were stunned by the precise lines of this architectural masterpiece as it was illuminated by the lights of "The City of Light".
