CNN PRODUCER NOTE     vferra7777 and his wife are both teachers in Virginia. He is a high school science teacher and she is a sign language interpreter. Being educators for several years, he predicts these spending cuts will most likely impact the special education sector the hardest. He says through the past four year they have seen their salaries drop two to three percent. Although he and his wife are financially stable, he worries for some of his colleagues who are going into teaching careers with several thousand dollars’ worth of education debt. 'The 24-year-old just out of college carrying thirty thousand dollars in debt and who gets laid off, I know lots of them. Or the parent doing the best they can is now worrying about their child losing a teaching aide who means so much to both of them. That hurts me,' he said.
