17 ARRESTED IN Katerini FOR ILLEGAL DOG FIGHTING
They found 7 Pitt Bulls, 6 alive and one dog was dead. They have described the dogs as being terrified when found 'trembling' with fear at the sight of people.
GREECE EXPOSED understands 13 Greeks and 4 none Greek nationals aged between 21 to 55 years where arrested for organising illegal dog fighting by the Police Department of Katerini and will appear in court tomorrow (MONDAY 4th March 2013 at 12:00)
The group in a statement have said
''Our soul cries for these creatures from last night creatures trembled beneath the caress with their tails tucked between their legs, and the battle to stay calm was great. See for yourself these "cold warriors - killers" that melted in our hands and the veterinarian soon realized that their previous life is a chapter closed tomorrow.

Our volunteers were called to take the dogs in. Trial is to be tomorrow and we expect the highest of penalties for all of them. Update tomorrow after the trial.
