Unmarried Educated Females
After a three year period of work and within a three month period of having my female boss "Fired" I and six other people were "Let Go". Prior to my leaving, I had been bullied. Called a "Yankee", Having my purse removed from a shelf and left on the floor. Had extra work piled on me. Insubordination from secretary & co-workers. a coworker came up behind me and hurt my neck. Others refusing to take assignments. Management telling me that "Bullying" is "Just something I read". CEO after three tries refused to meet with me. Headquarters told me I Live in a "Right to work State". If I do not like it I can leave'. I went to an
Employment Discrimination Lawyer, over 100 miles from my home. Which I paid an hourly fee & was told that I am being given a "Bad Reference". As I have been unable to gain employment'. Also contacted our state Senators Office, who sympathized. And offered NO help.
The same for my, now husband. I have been spoken to with some prospective employers with curt, rude, shortness in prospective employment. Now we may loose our home. Something we put time and money into.
In conclusion I feel I was 'Bullied". My sex. My appearance. My Religion. My Political affiliation. Have all been attacked. And continue. There are articles, books being written now. Single, professional Females are under attack. It is very hurtful.
