    David Copperfield Jet Scare

    A plane carrying famed illusionist David Copperfield made an emergency landing near Peoria, Illinois, early Monday morning

     

    The plane made a rapid descent from 37,000 feet after the crew and passengers noticed strange sounds coming from the hull.

     

    Copperfield was en route from Las Vegas to New York and was set to appear on The Today Show.

     

    Copperfield performs over 500 shows a year at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
