    Jekyll & Hyde the Musical Review Cherry @thetheater

    Before Jekyll & Hyde heads to Broadway the musical made a stop in Hollywood, CA at the Pantages theatre.  The musical stars Constantine Maroulis and Deborah Cox as star crossed lovers deprecated by the duality of human nature (good vs evil), class and 'what might have been'.  The entire cast sounded great in this rock opera and the set was great for generating foreboding and as well as costumes that enhanced the characters.  I give it a 'B' for effort but wish the songs were more distinct and didn't blend together in one long 'Queen' Rhapsody feeling.
