Kenyans eagerly waiting for the presidential election results

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Kenyan iReporter nyakreal voted in his home city of Kisii, south west Kenya on Monday, and is now anxiously awaiting results. "Almost 95% voters turned up to vote in my polling station," he said. "It's tense, people are fearing an emergence of post-election violence like that which occurred in 2007." Vote counting is currently underway in Kenya, which experienced a largely peaceful election day.

After casting their votes, Kenyans are eager to know who is likely to become their next president. It is a tight race between Uhuru Kenyatta of TNA and Raila Odinga of ODM.    Many inhabitants leaving in towns had already migrated to their suburbs in fear of another post-election violence.
