    Snow storm in Iceland today - everything stops

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Icelandic iReporter ander was lucky to get to work on Wednesday after heavy snow blanketed much of the capital, Reykjavik. "People were told not to pick up children at schools until the weather got better," he said. "The police and fire departments were all over helping people with the cars and there was a 20 car crash due to slippery roads and a blinding snowstorm."

    A little bit of Snow storm today in Iceland .
    Here are a few photos i took this morning on my way to work --- and later in the morning - the Civil Defense of Reykjavik City - told people to stay at home - and Bus service stopped and lots of cars where stuck in the snow all over the place.
    Two of the video clips i took this morning before the traffic started - and then there is one i took this afternoon -- All over Iceland , the weather was very bad , and many highways where closed to traffic because of the weather .-
