Most Famous Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez dies!

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Venezuelan iReporter acardenas13 says Chavez's legacy is one of providing benefits to the poor and bonding other Latin American nations closer together, but feels that Chavez did not adequately maintain the nation's infrastructure and promoted himself as leader at the expense of the nation's needs. "We have very high inflation, social problems, crime, corruption, hunger," he says. "The bad thing about all of this is that he thought that he was a new born [famed Venezuelan revolutionary] Simon Bolivar."
    - sarahbrowngb, CNN iReport producer

From day 1, every Venezuelan has dreamed about having a better Government! This dream is still on!

When we saw Chavez declaring at the Coup d'Etat of Feb. 04, 1992, we thought Magic was being Created by Almighty GOD!

We were so happy to later see him becoming President from the December 1998 Elections.

We thought that he was going to end all issues on injustice, poverty, infrastructure, crime, and so on.

He then made a deal with Fidel Castro and others and did what we never thought he would do.

I must say that Chavez was the end result of so many former bad governments. Some of our Presidents made good things, like infrastructure and education, but other problems were arising and growing with time.

Chavez made the World know about Venezuela, he dealt with every Country Leader as they were arising and coming into public life.

But Venezuela has many things to be proud of as Countrymen and Countrywomen: natural beauties and resources, oil, diamond, beautiful and bright people, and so on.

Venezuela has been lucky enough to have had Simon Bolivar as its Liberator and the Liberator as well of 4 more Countries: Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia.

We had Francisco de Miranda who was the second most famous Venezuelan in the World, who fought not only for the Venezuela independence but for the one for France and Russia.

Hugo Chavez totally changed Venezuelan Economy, by nationalizing most of the Private Sector.

Venezuela has an inmense National and International Debt, an infrastructure in a very disminished condition, divided Citizens, some hatress, worst crime levels, poverty, social problems, and so on.

I hope that we Venezuelans learn from all these years that we need to unite, create a Country Mission and Vission, with Values, define our Strenghts and Weaknesses and look for Opportunities and identify Threats, so that we may implement a Strategic Plan for many centuries and become a beautiful country with a happy GOD and Virgin.

We need to analyze the good things that all our Presidents have produced and use it for this Strategic Plan.

I know that a lot of people loves him but there are others who did not like him that much. He did a lot for poor people. History will tell more.

A Proud Venezuelan with a beautiful Country yet to be Discovered!
