    Snowstorm hits Luray, VA

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     ralfafara told me, 'I've only been living here for two years and this is the only major snow event I've experienced here. I've lived in much harsher climates where I have seen worse but I think this was unusual for this location. We're seeing spotty power outages, quite a few downed branches and trees due to heavy and wet snow.'

    We received lots of snow starting at 11pm last night and just tapering off now (4pm). Total accumulation about 20" of snow.
